Painting Digital Portraits

In this 60 page PDF I talk about and demonstrate how to get started on digital painting. I talk software and hardware and have three chapters in which I demonstrate painting a digital portrait. The methods I use can be applied to just about any software and the software I choose is either free and available for download online ( Autodesk Sketchbook ) or low cost and available online ( Rebelle ). Because I come to digital art with the training of an artist working in traditional media this book is especially helpful to those artist who wish to enter in to digital art but are used to working with traditional media and need help on where to start.
